22 mars 2017 - Quoi : Événement annuel  LOONIE LINE (depuis 2003)
Le défi Loonie Line est une collecte de fonds très unique qui rassemble étudiants et employés du Collège pour venir en aide à nos étudiants aux prises avec des difficultés financières et pour sensibiliser la communauté à l’importance donner un coup de main. 

Les pièces d’un dollar sont déposées sur une rangée de ruban adhésif qui fait la longueur des édifices de Stewart Hall à Casgrain (approximativement 850 pi ou 79 m).
Le défi consiste à ramasser le plus d’argent possible en 5 heures!

100% de l’argent recueilli sera versé au Fonds de dépannage pour étudiants de John-Abbott.
Notre objectif cette année est de 12 000$ !

Quand : Demain le mercredi 22 mars 2017 de 8 h à 13 h

Pourquoi : Pour que les étudiants aux prises avec des difficultés financières aient accès à une éducation post-secondaire de haut calibre.
Les membres de la communauté externe sont invités à se joindre à nous pour cette activité très amusante.

The loonies have been counted – the results are in – and the records have all been broken!
We raised $20,006 on the Loonie Line 2017 today!

LOONIES ARE BACK AT JOHN ABBOTT COLLEGE
Who: CEGEP John Abbott College
What: Annual Loonie Line (started in 2003)

The entire Abbott community raising money for students in financial difficulty while also raising awareness about the importance of giving a helping hand.
Two-sided tape will be laid the length of the hallways from Stewart Hall to Casgrain buildings (about 850 ft or 79 m).
Students and staff place loonies on tape to raise the most money possible in 5 hours! 
100% of money gathered will go to the Student Assistance Fund.
Our target amount is $12,000!

When: Tomorrow Wednesday, March 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why: The Student Assistance Fund exists for those students who need financial support in order to stay in school and complete their studies.
Members of the external community are invited to join us and to place loonies on the line.
